Business Description

What to do when a shabby bank "out East" goes up for sale in Sarasota? Buy it and transform it into a restaurant. Fill it with locally sourced Caribbean and Creole flavors, name it something a little outlandish like Madfish Grill, and open it as the first locally owned mom-and-pop seafood restaurant in the neighborhood.

Over two decades later, our eclectic eatery has evolved and we are thrilled to please the palates of regulars and newbies alike. If you have dined with us often, chances are you've helped morph a few of our most popular dishes - because we take your suggestions to heart, and we enjoy a menu tweak from time to time.

Guests are welcome for happy hour, apps, four-course dinners, and everything between. Come and taste our local produce, including fresh fish. Experience our classic bartending. While we're at it, try our crunchy macadamia crusted shrimp.
